CANCER (Sun Sign) Part of November's planetary focus is on your solar 5th house of love and pleasure, courtesy of the sun, new moon, Mercury and Mars in Scorpio for parts of the month. Enjoy! Sagittarius is not a boss-friendly sign in general, so Cancer executives and managers may have to do some ad hoc employee soothing. Cancer employees by the same token may feel less than reassured by the boss's forecasts for the future. The bottom line is that it's probably best for Cancer to plan on working hard and being busy as we head into the holiday season this year. CAPRICORN (Ascending Sign) This month is both about where you're going, Capricorn, and about where you've been. Where you want to go may put a bit of pressure on your finances periodically throughout the month. If you plan to spend or borrow money to finance an aspiration, try to be sure you are crystal clear on the details of the transaction. Deception is possible, so just be careful. Other than that, the month is a mix of backward and forward-looking influences. Until the 12th, Venus is in Sagittarius in your solar 12th house, reflecting on the past year. After that, though, she's in your sign and ready to move on toward your hopefully glorious future. Meanwhile, the sun and Mars are looking forward until the 21st and 23rd respectively, and then they both move into your reflective 12th house, where they are supposed to rest up and prepare for your solar new year. Jupiter in your sign continues to look foward, adding to the mix of future and past orientation. It's almost as though your solar chart keeps trying to check the map while still driving you forward. Apparently, it's just not willing to entirely pull over for a bit and ask directions. I suppose in real life that means you'll need to mix planning with action. (星島日報)10月23日 星期四 06:30 金融海嘯席捲全球，破壞力不光是令人身家縮水，還有折磨人的心靈。打工仔時刻面對被裁員厄運，心理壓力不勝負荷，焦慮、抑鬱等情緒病隨之而來，後果非你想像般簡單。不信？且看全人發展中心最近一項調查顯示：半數本地白領一族精神處於「亞健康」狀態，即身體免疫力差，容易罹患疾病。今天找來精神科及心理學專家教路，如何在辦公室內極速減壓，紓緩緊張思緒，避免患上情緒疾病。 身體毛病或與精神有關 最近金融海嘯來勢兇猛，影響全球經濟，打工一族人人自危，心恐自己將成下個「海嘯犧牲品」，每天在沉重的壓力下工作，往往積「慮」成疾。本地精神科專科醫生丁錫全透露，最近從事保險業、地產業及銀行業的病人數目明顯上升了，他們最常見的徵狀是失眠和食慾不振，身體免疫功能下降，若不正視問題，很容易會導致患上焦慮及抑鬱等情緒病。「壓力有分好與壞，在醫學上，好的壓力叫Eustress，而壞的壓力叫Distress。人不可以完全沒有壓力，沒有壓力就沒有動力，我們會變得懶散，做事提不起勁。但壓力過大，就會影響健康。」臨牀心理學家葉妙妍表示：「從情緒角度來看，一個人壓力愈大，愈會對周邊事物提不起興趣，表現漠不關心；長遠會影響個人集中力，做決定和用腦筋方面都會大打折扣。」丁錫全補充，很多人以為自己頭暈頭痛、胃痛等，是健康響起警號，但其實也是精神心理出現問題。 A型性格易患焦慮病 丁錫全認為，處理壓力，各師各法，因人而異，「但酗酒、開快車、濫藥和吸煙等，就一定是錯誤的減壓方法。」長遠計，他建議上班族多做運動和建立個人興趣。事實上，香港浸會大學和香港心理衞生會進行的一項調查發現，積極參與運動對精神健康的整體好處，較不做運動的高百分之十三點五，更可減低焦慮、抑鬱等風險。浸會大學體育系副教授劉永松指，做運動時腦部會放出化學物質，產生愉悅感；適量的運動，亦有助晚上入睡，對抗失眠。 著名生理學家佛雷德曼（Meyer Friedman）將人按其性格分為兩大類型：A型（Type A）和B型（Type B）。葉妙妍指出，A型性格者一般較急躁、求勝心切、好爭勝，故容易患上焦慮病。B型性格的人，個性隨和，對工作要求較寬鬆，對成敗得失看法亦較淡薄。筆者顯然是A型性格人，因我嫌兩位專家所說的長遠減壓法過於「行貨」，起不了立光見影的成效，故硬要他們提供五大辦公室即時減壓術，供上班一族參考，以下就是專家建議的良方。 感覺到精神壓力飆升時，不妨執拾一下凌亂的桌子。化「亂」為「整」的過程，有助重建個人自信和將自己暫時抽離惡劣思緒。當然，執拾亦要看程度，若範圍太大或時間太久，只會令混亂情緒更加混亂。 2 意象鬆弛 意象鬆弛可以說是有計畫地發白日夢，做法是緊閉雙目，幻想自己正身處曾到過而又感覺快樂的地方，過程中慢慢將自己的呼吸、心跳放緩，過程約十分鐘左右。做此練習時記住留意老闆位置，以免被誤會偷懶。 3 畫公仔 畫公仔亦是一個減壓方法，不必深究繪畫內容，亂畫一通亦可紓減壓力。專家建議繪畫一些開心的人和物，有助反照繪畫者情緒，提升個人的「開心指數」，幫助自己從困境中抽離出來。 4 舒展筋絡 在辦公室座位上伸展手腳，甚至伸個「懶腰」，都可紓緩一下緊張情緒。另外，不妨以鼻子深吸一口氣，保持約三秒後，再以口呼出，同樣是即時減壓的妙方。 5 嘗甜忘苦 吃東西是減壓方法之一，但小心會養成暴飲暴食的惡習；吃零食也有學問，太辣、太酸都不適宜，最好還是嘗嘗甜意，一粒糖果或足以令人忘卻痛苦思緒，與同事分甘同味更好，因可藉此互相傾吐心事，分擔壓力。 大家一齊放鬆啲啦! . . |
